Hunter Boots

Edie's Closet, Hunter Boots

My wonderful mother surprised me this past weekend with my first pair of Hunter Boots and I'm so excited to wear them. In the past I have had some bad experiences with rain boots, one pair would rub the back of my heels so bad that after walking one block I was ready to cut my own feet off and another had terrible suction, once I wore them during a torrential rain storm and when I got home it took almost an hour to get them off my feet. Imagine me, crying in my room, all I want to do is get in the shower and wash the rain away but my boots won't come off and no one is around to help me!!

So Hunter is literally saving me and anyone on the East Coast today knows its not the prettiest of days, lots of rain, so now I don't have to be afraid to walk outside.

Side note: I want to explain my photo background today, due to the rain and the fact that I take all my own pictures (thanks dad for handy, dandy tripod) I couldn't go outside. But as silly as it sounds I have to shout out my futon here, because it use to be my bed when I first moved to Brooklyn, 6 years ago, and now it has moved to my living room/guest bedroom for all my friends that stay over.

Even after all these years and two apartments later its still my favorite piece of furniture and one of the comfiest, I swear anyone that sleeps over falls out on this thing! :)
